Welcome to our Faxon Academy! We’re happy to have you here and look forward to a successful school year with you and your child(ren). 

Faxon Academy is a public, tuition-free charter school open to all Michigan children. No admission tests are needed.

Required Information

Parents/guardians must provide the following information at the time of enrollment:

  • Child’s original birth certificate
    • Your child must be five (5) years old by September 1 to enroll in kindergarten. If your child’s birthday is after September 1 but before December 1, please refer to our application packet for details.
  • Immunization records
  • Records from previous school (if applicable)
  • Notarized proof of guardianship (if applicable)
    • Only state defined legal parents/guardians may enroll a child in school.
  • Picture ID
    • Acceptable forms of I.D. include parent or legal guardian’s driver’s license, state I.D., or passport.
    • I.D. must show current address.
